Powder-coated 4mm LightWire aluminum frame provides structural rigidity. Bluesign-approved, PFC-free DWR. Premium multi-material construction throughout. Minor deductions for weight (4.6 lbs) and the 2022 refresh adding ~1.5 lbs over the prior generation.

Known Concerns4 issues reported
At approximately 4.6 lbs (L/XL), it is significantly heavier than ultralight alternatives. The 2022 refresh added roughly 1.5 lbs compared to the prior generation.
Recommended max load reduced from 50 lbs to 30-40 lbs in the 2022 model. The AG suspension does not transfer heavy loads to the hips as efficiently as the stiffer Aether series.
Hip belt pockets ride too far back, making one-handed access difficult while hiking. Zippers can be hard to close under load due to fabric bunching.
The suspended mesh back panel protrudes into the pack interior, reducing effective packing volume below the stated 65L capacity.
